Good afternoon everyone,

Ben Gelber from Storm Team 4 would like volunteers to help him with programing weather radios for the public. Please respond to ben if you are interested. Contact Ben Gelber if you have any questions.

For the 5th year, NBC4 is promoting severe weather safety by getting the word out about NOAA All Hazards Weather Alert Radios. Storm Team 4 and NBC4 staff offer a community outreach program — we go to a different Kroger location in central Ohio every Wednesday from 5-7 pm through spring and early summer.

Customers buy the radios and we program the weather radios for free. Here’s a sampling of locations. These events are featured every Wednesday during NBC4 at 5 and 6 evening newscasts.

We are looking for volunteers to join Storm Team 4  to assist customers. If you want to learn more, email your contact info to me at bgelber@wcmh.comand we’ll get in contact with you.
