For the 5th year, NBC4 is promoting severe weather safety by getting the word out about NOAA All Hazards Weather Alert Radios. Storm Team 4 and NBC4 staff offer a community outreach program — we go to a different Kroger location in central Ohio every Wednesday from 5-7 pm through spring and early summer.
Customers buy the radios and we program the weather radios for free. Here’s a sampling of locations. These events are featured every Wednesday during NBC4 at 5 and 6 evening newscasts.
We are looking for volunteers to join Storm Team 4 to assist customers. If you want to learn more, email your contact info to me at bgelber@wcmh.comand we’ll get in contact with you.
