Disaster Volunteer Opportunities April 2013
February 22, 2013Litter Hike: Kids help clean up Strawberry Farms
April 2, 2013The Westerville Area Kids Lunch Club has been selected as 1 of approx 60 non-profit programs to participate in a nation-wide campaign to win a $20,000 grant from Walmart! The merit selection is done, and now it’s all by popular vote.
So I’m playing the “I don’t usually ask for much” card, and asking you to vote daily for the Lunch Club to help us win this grant. The funds are needed like never before.
Voting is done through Facebook, and is open the entire month of April. You can vote once a day throughout April. You will not have to hunt for our program, nor do any “Likes.” As soon as the voting platform opens, on April 1st,
I will send you a link which takes you directly to where you vote for the Westerville Area Kids Lunch Club.
So it will only take a couple seconds to do this for us, each day. Please mark your calendar to do this as a recurring event every day of April, beginning Monday the 1st . Think of WARM every time you have your morning “warm” cup of java and remember to vote!
Please also ask your FB friends, & colleagues to do the same. We are up against some rather large programs.
I’ll try not to send duplicates or too many reminders, however feel free to follow WARM on Facebook for additional information and updates on our ranking!
THANK YOU for your votes & support of WARM and The Westerville Area Kids Lunch Club!
