Tune In and Get Involved!

Strawberry Farms is a large neighborhood of more than 900 homes as well as apartment communities. We are part of the City of Columbus, and so we need community connections to advocate for our needs to the city, and a leadership structure to get information from the city back to our residents.

Some of the things Strawberry Farms Community Association works on include:

• Garbage collection/street maintenance
• Trick-or-Treat (set by the city)
• Neighborhood events such as egg hunts, festivals, food trucks, National Night Out, etc.
• Landscaping the common areas, such as the speed-slowing islands, which the neighborhood is responsible for maintaining
• Working with the city parks department for improvements and issues at Strawberry Farms Park
• Working with Franklin County Metro Parks for issues along the pedestrian trails
• Working with city police to learn what crimes happen in our neighborhood and what we can do to prevent them

Neighbors Wanted!

Because of a lot of home sales in our area, some of our volunteers have moved away. Others simply have shifting family commitments. Our current president will be selling and moving in 2024. We’d like to build up a strong group of current residents who want to be part of the association meetings and planning.

If you are good at something and you can contribute your skills at that thing for one or two hours per month, please come to a meeting!
If you want to learn to be good at something, please come to a meeting!
If you need leadership skills in order to gain a promotion at work, or if you are a young person in our community who wants to be involved in any of the topics in the list above, please come to a meeting!
