The board of the Strawberry Farms Civic Association voted Nov. 28 at our regular meeting to increase the ANNUAL civic association membership from $15 to $20 per year, per household.
Our membership has been $15 for many, many years, and is lower than the other Columbus neighborhoods around us.
The small increase will provide more funds for us to put on events such as Fall Fest, Winter Holiday Light Contest, and the spring Egg Hunt.
Since $20 per year is very affordable, we don’t believe it will be a disincentive for joining.
In addition to the neighborhood events for residents, we also represent Strawberry Farms at the Northland Community Council. We interact with the City of Columbus representative for our area, as well as our Columbus Police Liaison Officer.
