May 10 Bike Safety Event at Hawthorne Elementary

The City of Columbus wants to give bicycle helmets to each of our elementary school students! They are hosting a Bike Safety Day at Hawthorne Elementary May 10, during the entire school day. Students will have a chance to each receive a free helmet, adjusted for their head, as well as participate in fun safety activities.

We need volunteers to pass out the helmets and adjust them for the students, as well as to direct the safety activities. Please sign up for a shift (or more than one shift!) here:

This is part of the Columbus Neighborhood PRIDE program, which is coming to Strawberry Farms this year. Look for more information about events and activities provided by the city this summer!
