City Report on Street Trees and Tree Canopy

Hello neighbors,

Please see attached the city’s recent report on their audit of all the “street trees” (trees in the public right-of-way between the sidewalk and the street) in Strawberry Farms and the rest of the Northland region.

This is part of the city’s efforts to increase the tree canopy throughout the city.

We are fortunate in Strawberry Farms to have a large number of mature trees. Not that many of them are “street trees…” most of them are on private property, in our yards. See the end of the report on their suggestions for increasing the number of trees on public and private land in our neighborhood.
