In case you haven’t heard, the city’s Neighborhood PRIDE program is coming to Strawberry Farms! We applied and were chosen as one of just four neighborhoods in the entire city to benefit from special attention this year.

Please stay tuned for future announcements about times and dates of special events, neighborhood breakfasts and dinners, an evening with Mayor Ginther, and more!

To begin, Civic Association president Alice Foeller and longtime resident Jack Trott rode on a bus with city officials on a tour around Strawberry Farms. Passengers included representatives from Recreation and Parks, Code Enforcement, City Services, Police, Fire and more. We drove past hot spots of activity, homes that aren’t being taken care of and more.

As the program progresses, we’ll be asking for volunteers to help with the activities the city is putting on in our neighborhood. Most events will be based at the Church of the Nazarene at the corner of Watt Road and Sunbury Road, which has agreed to host the city program.
